It all started in 1977 when Alister Mclaughlin and Ron Stewart were working at Group Rentals, a company that provided home appliances as rentals. Both Alister and Ron spent over 10 years in retail management, asset management and surplus stock disposal and export.
In 1997, there was a decrease in the rental market where Alister and Ron saw the opportunity to create a new service: logistics. This was the start of Alron Enterprises. The company services grew bigger with more retailers to the point we required three vans and staff to deliver and setup all appliances in the domestic market. Now one truck, they expanded to two and eventually three trucks.
The next step was the commercial market again with the opportunity to deliver and install the appliances into the new apartment complexes that were being built at an ever-increasing rate. These complexes were varying sizes up to more than five hundred apartments on one site with seven appliances per apartment.
By now Alron Enterprises had completely change from the original concept and we were delivering and installing up to 45,000 appliances a year.
In 2017, it was decided it was time for Alister and Ron to retire from the business and let someone else take it to the next level.
Danny and Nisi started their Alron Enterprises journey in January 2018. They had been searching for a business that suited their career background and had the potential for growth.
Danny and Nisi introduced new technology to the business which included upgrading cloud storage and a focus towards meeting the client needs and catering to new businesses.
Danny and Nisi decided to venture off to their newly created plumbing business, which is when on February 2020, Veenay and Roselyn Mani stepped in and took Alron under their wings.
Now Alron is ready for new heights and further expansions on the horizon. Our focus is on growing the business and implementing more effective and efficient technology that enhances customer experience. We see Alron as a provider that takes the stress away from the day-to-day activities of supplier/stakeholders so they can focus on what they do best… sell sell sell!
